After my work conference in San Francisco, I decided to rent a car and drive to the California coast. One of my first stops once I left the city (Crazy traffic!) was at John Muir National Historic Monument.
This park has one of the last remaining Redwood Tree groves along the Central California coast. . I strolled along many redwood trees along the main trail from the visitor’s center. The trees were quite beautiful and the walk was very quiet. I completed the walk up to bridge#4, then tracked back to the car via the hill trail.
I wished I had more time to explore the other portions of the park, but I only had today to see the sights of California. I will come back to this park again on my next visit to San Francisco!
